We take only a few commissions each year · currently booking Q4 2026
CommissionTell us what you have in mind. A figure, a memorial, perhaps a monument. We answer every note ourselves, and we begin with a conversation rather than a catalogue.
We listen first. Purpose, place, scale, the right stone. Nothing is decided before we understand what the work is meant to hold.
We come back with drawings and a scale model for your approval. The form is settled in your hands before a block is touched.
We source a single block and rough it out by robot, to a tolerance no hand can hold. Then a master shilpi finishes it by hand, slowly.
The work arrives sealed, numbered, and certified. We insure it worldwide and bring it to wherever it is meant to stand.
Commissioning a large work from a house you have not met is an act of trust. We have written down exactly what you approve, what you receive in writing, and what we do when something goes wrong.
Write to us directly. There is no form and no queue. Every enquiry comes to us, and we answer it ourselves, with questions rather than a quotation.

hello@eternalart.coWhat to tell us
None of this needs to be settled. A few lines are enough to begin, and the rest is what the first conversation is for.
A photograph gives you one angle and asks you to imagine the rest. Stone does not work that way. Take hold of this block and turn it: watch the light move across the channels, and the veining run through the body rather than sit on the surface.

Awaiting scan of your commissioned work
Once your piece is roughed out, we scan it and put it here, so you can turn the actual work in your hands long before it ships.
Sacred, memorial and monumental sculpture carved from solid natural stone, along with smaller objets such as bowls, lamps and carved panels. The work falls into four collections: The Sacred, The Remembered, The Monumental and The Objets.
Marble, granite, sandstone and basalt, chosen one block at a time. Every work is carved from a single solid block. Nothing is cast, reconstituted, or made from resin.
In four stages. A single sound block is chosen at the quarry and read for grain and fault. A robotic arm roughs out the form to a tolerance no hand can hold. A master shilpi then takes over and finishes the surface by hand over long hours. Finally the work is sealed, numbered within its edition, and certified.
Yes. We accept only a few commissions each year, and we are currently booking Q4 2026. It begins with a conversation rather than a catalogue: purpose, place, scale, and the right stone. We come back with drawings and a scale maquette for your approval before a block is touched. Write to hello@eternalart.co.
We work from Chittorgarh in Rajasthan and from Mumbai, in India. We ship worldwide, insured, and bring the work to wherever it is meant to stand.
Each work is unique to its block. Pieces are made in small numbered editions and arrive with a Certificate of Permanence recording the work, its material, dimensions, edition, the master who finished it, the date sealed, and the seal number.
Yes. The Remembered is the collection for exactly that: memorials and portraits in stone, made to keep a presence in the room for generations.
